Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Project Operations Lead to support the Team Lead in managing the daily operations of the Implementation of a project. In this role, you will oversee logistical elements, ensuring the smooth execution of events, effective scheduling, and optimal resource allocation. You will also play a key role in recruiting and selecting fellows, emphasizing an inclusive and fair process.

Support the Team Lead with the day-to-day activities of the project.

Coordinate logistical aspects of the program, including scheduling, resource allocation, and event preparation.

Manage the recruitment and selection process for fellows, ensuring it is fair and inclusive.

Contribute to the design and delivery of workshops, training sessions, and modules.

Track fellows' progress throughout the program and provide operational support as needed.

Develop and implement administrative procedures to ensure efficient program operations.

Handle communication with mentors and participants, offering information and support as required.

Maintain up-to-date records and documentation related to the program

Requirements

Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.

Proficient in project management tools and software.

Experience with budget management and resource allocation is a plus.

Qualification

Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.

Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English is required.

General Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years in project management, demonstrating the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.

Specific Professional Experience: At least 5 years in operations management, ideally within an educational or training program setting.

Leadership/Management Experience: 2-3 years of program management experience, showcasing strong leadership and team management skills.

Regional Experience: At least 5 years of experience managing projects in Africa, with a minimum of 3 years focused on projects in Ghana.

Development Cooperation (DC) Experience: At least 2 years of experience with development cooperation projects.
